Personalized support for your emotional well-being and growth

Individual therapy offers a space to explore your thoughts, emotions, relationships, and experiences with support and care. Whether you are navigating anxiety, stress, burnout, identity exploration, or life transitions, therapy can help you feel more grounded, supported, and connected to yourself.

I provide affirming, trauma-informed therapy for Black queer women, non-binary people, and trans women seeking a space where they can show up fully and be met with compassion.

  • You are navigating relationship or family stress
  • You want support with boundaries and self-esteem
  • You are processing identity-related experiences
  • You want a space dedicated to your healing and growth

How I approach this work

My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and affirming. I use a variety of treatment techniques, meeting you where you are and guiding you to your most authentic self. I use a variety of approaching including ...

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a structured, evidence-based approach that helps identify and shift unhelpful thought patterns, behaviors, and emotional responses. CBT focuses on developing practical coping skills, increasing self-awareness, and creating healthier ways of thinking and responding to life’s challenges. It is commonly used to support anxiety, stress, depression, and everyday emotional overwhelm.

Dialectical Behavioral Therapy

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is a skills-based approach that helps people manage overwhelming emotions, improve relationships, and cope with stress more effectively. DBT focuses on building practical tools for mindfulness, emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and healthy communication while balancing acceptance and meaningful change.

Emotion Focused Therapy

Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT) is an approach that helps people better understand, process, and work through emotions in a supportive and compassionate way. EFT focuses on identifying emotional patterns, strengthening self-awareness, and creating healthier ways of responding to emotions, relationships, and life experiences. It can help support healing, emotional connection, and greater self-understanding.

Brainspotting Therapy

Brainspotting therapy is a brain-body based approach that helps people process trauma, emotional pain, anxiety, and overwhelming experiences. It works by identifying specific eye positions, or “brainspots,” connected to stored emotional experiences in the brain and nervous system.

Brainspotting can help access and process experiences that may feel difficult to put into words, allowing for deeper emotional healing and nervous system regulation in a supportive and focused therapeutic space.
